"function".typeof window.opentrackedCheck the request
In the Network tab, filter for
collect. A request to/api/collectwith status204means it works. A404means the site key is wrong.
Common problems
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| Status stays grey | The snippet is missing from the page head, or the key is different. Copy it again. |
| Works for others, not for you | An ad blocker or privacy setting is blocking it. Test in a clean private window. |
| Purchases missing | Send an order_id. For Google Tag Manager, send ecommerce.transaction_id. |
| Purchases counted twice | Use the same order_id in every system. |
| A speed plugin hides the script | Exclude os.js from delay, defer and combine settings. |
| Key was rotated | Replace the snippet everywhere it is installed. |
Google Tag Manager preview shows only favicon.ico | Load your site with Tag Assistant connected. The server container URL must match the address you preview. |
Opt a visitor out
Call opentracked('optout'), for example from your cookie banner. The pixel also stops when the browser sends Global Privacy Control.
